Kelly & Mark

About a week ago I had the opportunity to assist Robert Burge at Kelly and Mark's wedding. It was held at Whitehall--a very beautiful, historic home. The wedding was gorgeous, and it was so neat that it was in this fancy home! Here are a few images from the day:

They really had trouble figuring out how to bustle the train:

The groom was being silly all day:

They had a bunch of framed photos of themselves spread across the top of a baby grand piano, along with candles and rose petals. A really neat idea:

SNOW!

I just wanted to share that it's SNOWING and I'm incredibly excited!!! Since moving away from Michigan, I've missed the snow so much. There is actually an inch of it out there (*gasp!*) and it's still coming down. Pretty good for Kentucky, eh? :) Love it, love it, love it!

Snow makes me smile :)

Hello!

Hey everybody! So here I am, starting a blog. I'm hoping that this will help you all get to know me better. It'll also provide the opportunity for me to share my most recent photos and hopefully even encourage me to take MORE photos!

So, let's see... A little about me... I'm happily married to my wonderful husband, Matt. We met when we were both in our high school drumline, grew as friends over the years, and got married in September of 2006. We live in Kentucky, and terribly miss our homeland of Michigan, but we're excited to see what God has in store for us here.

What makes me smile: my husband, seeing friends and family, playing the piano, photography, rainbows, waterfalls, sunny skies, friendly people, answered prayers, seeing people achieve their dreams, snowboarding, the whisper of God, snow, awesome quotes, storms, jibing in my sailboat, beautiful music, wrap-around porches, being outside, mountain biking, getting a letter in the mail, a conversation with friends...

So that's me in a nutshell--if that's at all possible! Talk to you again soon!

Steph

PS The pic of my hubby and me was taken by the amazing Robert Burge who I am blessed to learn from and be friends with.
